At InfoPoint Jewish Vienna, an official organ of the Jewish Community of Vienna, our mission is to be your trusted partner for extraordinary tours and historical experiences around Jewish life in Austria. As a one-of-a-kind travel agency, we aim to provide authentic and captivating journeys that reveal the diverse tapestry of Jewish Vienna, encompassing the past, present, and future of this vibrant community and city.

We are committed to honoring the many facets of Jewish life in Vienna, from orthodox to secular, Ashkenazi to Sephardic, modern to traditional, and everything in between. We strive to showcase the city's rich Jewish history, from the medieval Jewish quarter and the flourishing communities of the 19th and 20th centuries to the horrors of the Shoah and the thriving community in the present day. Our programs also highlight the essential role of music, art, culture, and literature in Jewish Vienna.

In our pursuit reveal the captivating history of Jewish Vienna, we not only share the stories of notable Jewish personalities who have shaped the city’s development but also celebrate the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary Jewish life in the city. We take pride in showcasing Vienna’s 28 kosher dining establishments, numerous thriving Jewish-owned businesses, and flourishing youth organizations dedicated to fostering the next generation of Jewish leaders and preserving the community’s rich cultural heritage.

 

We believe that the key to revealing the true essence of Jewish Vienna lies in the personal connections and emotional experiences fostered by our tours. As a result of the past, in which 65.000 Jews in Austria were killed in the Shoah, we see it as our duty to commemorate the victims and tell the individual stories of the individuals whose voices were silenced as a result of this tragedy.
